Below. Five images from a series made in 2016. The idea behind the work was to record on a regular basis the steel surface of a phonebox. Over the course of a year or so the changes in weather and season could be detected and photographed. The images also function as low key self portraits. Several series were made over a period of years. I may well still be taking photos of the side of the phonebox today, as a way of recording changes in the local environment, if the local council had not removed it due to under use.
